Fun things to do...

Over the years, these are some things to do that my family has really enjoyed.  I would encourage you to check them out to see what memories you can make, too.

Wave Cutter Charters

Hands down, the best cruise on the island for dolphin searching and Blue Angels watching (in season). Join the best crew on the island for a fun experience on the water.  Very knowledgeable guides make this ride a lot of fun. When you go, tell them the Turtle Castle sent you.  Click here for more info.

Radical Rides

If you want to have some fun on the water, this is the place to go.  From parasailing to boat rental, be sure to go here first for a good deal.  Click here for more info.

Aviation Museum

The National Naval Aviation Museum on NAS Pensacola has a great collection of Naval and Marine Corp aircraft on display to explore.  NAS Pensacola is also home to the Blue Angels.  In season, check out Blue Angels practices from the flight line right behind the museum, all for free.  The Blues typically practive on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (with an autograph session on Wednesdays).  If you are going for practice, be sure to get there early though.  Click here for information about the museum. Note: Right now, access is limited to only those with D.O.D. clearance due to base access restrictions. Call before going.

Boardwalk

Come relax, shop and eat on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.  From exquisite fine gifts to basic beach presents, you'll find it all at the boardwalk.   If you time it right, you might catch a show in the ampitheater or get entertained by a performer somewhere on the boardwalk.  Click here for more info.

Fort Pickens

Explore Fort Pickens, first built in the early 19th century to defend the coast, the bay and the resources of the area.  Travel back in time and imagine what it must have been like standing guard and watching for distant enemy ships in the night.  Click here for more info.

Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Enjoy a nice, relaxing drive over to Navarre Beach, east of Pensacola Beach, to see the amazing work being done to rehabilitate and save these wonderful creatures.  Click here for more info.

Laguna's Beach Bar And Grill

Right at the entrance to the island, come to Laguna's for some great food and fun. Plenty of activities, at good prices, to keep you busy for hours. When you are done, grab some great food from the grill. Click here to learn more.
